I’m not usually a ‘breakfast’ person but when I’m on the road, or exploring a new city, it’s just another excuse to explore new places and get some culinary inspiration.not to mention, I seek out the spots frequented by locals, where perhaps I can gain some insight on other sights to see. I mapped out seven of the best breakfast places in Naples, Florida, and gave ‘em a go.
For easy locating, all seven of my recommended breakfast spots are pinned on this map.
Cove Inn Coffee Shoppe
- 900 Broad Ave S, Naples, FL 34102
- Phone: 239-262-7161
- Open 7AM to 12PM weekdays, 7AM to 1:30PM on weekends
- Menu
The Cove Inn Coffee Shoppe is located in the Cove Inn on Naples Bay. Don’t be deceived by the name – their only coffee option is americano. They have been in business over 40 years and serve their own coffee blend. If you desire something fancier, make a stop at Starbucks prior. This is a cash only joint, so come prepared! The food is simple yet great quality diner-style food – pancakes, omelets, and the like. It’s a popular breakfast spot, and wait times can be long during the busy season. Take this opportunity to enjoy the view of the marina out back. Unfortunately they don’t have table service outside by the marina, which would have been my preference!
Joe’s Diner
- 9331 Tamiami Trail N #14, Naples, FL 34108
- Phone: 239-254-7929
- Open 7AM to 2PM every day
- Menu
Joe’s diner is located in Naples Park Plaza, and is one of the best breakfast spots in North Naples. The interior boasts a diner-style vice which extends outside to the patio. There is plenty of outdoor seating with colorful umbrellas and checkered table covers. The menu offers gluten free options, egg combos, waffle combos, and much more. They do serve specialty coffee – espresso, cappuccino, and more! An added perk is the $2.13 mimosas every day from 7AM to 11AM.
Patio Cafe
- 10711 Tamiami Trail N, Naples, FL 34108
- Phone: 239-260-1075
- Open 7AM to 8:30PM Monday – Saturday, 7AM to 3PM Sunday
- Menu
Patio Cafe is a casual spot offering traditional American fare, including breakfast and a full bar. The menu offers decent prices and healthy portions. Regular or fruity pancakes, omelets, and french toast platters, this place serves all varieties of healthier and heavier breakfast options. The cozy outdoor patio is surrounded by palms, giving it a tropical feel. The inside decor is average, so I do recommend the patio. Servers are generally friendly and the service is on point, although the place can get busy, resulting in less attentive service. Another reason to kick back and enjoy the patio seating.
Blueberry’s Cafe
- 3350 Tamiami Trail N, Naples, FL 34103
- Phone: 239-430-0700
- Open 6:30AM to 3PM every day
- Menu
Blueberry’s is a casual joint serving hearty breakfasts, plus a variety of American classics & Greek eats. It sits in an old cottage style building. The interior is adorned diner-style with tables, booths, and bar seating. People rave about this place, and it can get very busy leading to longer waits and slower service. This is a great spot for a great breakfast, if you’re not in a rush nor impatient. If possible, sit at the counter where you can watch the behind-the-scenes action. For the laid-back vibe, choose a spot outside in the shade and under the ceiling fans.
Poached
- 2355 Vanderbilt Beach Rd Suite 156, Naples, FL 34109
- Phone: 239-593-0770
- Open 7:30AM to 2:30PM every day
- Menu
Poached is located in Galleria Shoppes at Vanderbilt and is another one of the best breakfast in North Naples. They serve benedics, omelets, pancakes, waffles, french toasts, breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and more! You’ll find decent value for the pricing and portion sizes. The inside is adorned with colorful painting and has a diner-style feel to it. Coffee options are simple and minimal, but if you must have your espresso, you can bring your own starbucks. The place can get busy on a Saturday and Sunday morning, so don’t come in a rush. Enjoy the patio seating with a view of the fountain and other shops, and well as the Saturday farmer’s market.
Jane’s Cafe on 3rd
- 1209 3rd St S, Naples, FL 34102
- Phone: 239-261-2253
- Open 8:30AM to 3PM every day
- Menu
Jane’s is a laid-back eatery whipping up British & American grub in a casual, koi pond-enhanced setting. While Jane’s can be pricey, the vibe and scenery make up for it – the plaza feels very European with its archways, fountains, and lush vegetation. Serving breakfast, lunch, and brunch, this is a place I could hang out all morning and into the afternoon. Dog friendly on the patio, and serving up specialty coffees, Jane’s is certainly a favorite of the locals.
The Cafe
- 821 5th Ave S, Naples, FL 34102
- Phone: 239-430-6555
- Open 8AM to 3PM every day
- Menu
The Cafe is a homey cafe serving hot breakfasts, sandwiches, salads & grain bowls, and house-baked goods. Located in downtown Naples, you certainly get the downtown vibe whether you’re seated indoors or out. A popular breakfast spot, there can be a wait on Saturday and Sunday mornings, but it tends to move quickly. Offering pressed coffees, juices and fruit, there is something delicious here for everyone. An added perk is the people watching along 5th Ave if you choose the outdoor seating.
