I love a good breakfast on the beach, and I love an excuse to explore new spots for breakfast! I’ve mapped out the best breakfast places in Panama City Beach, and there should be something here to satisfy any palate!
For easy locating, all seven of my recommended best places to eat breakfast in PCB are pinned on this map.
Thomas Donut and Snack Shop
- 19208 Front Beach Rd, Panama City Beach, FL 32413
- Phone: 850-234-8039
- Open 6AM to 3PM every day
- Menu
Thomas Donut and Snack Shop has specialized in donuts since 1971. They also offer American grub, window service, and a deck with picnic tables. Not only are there many varieties of donut offered, but also on the menu are simple breakfast options like eggs, biscuits and gravy, grits, sausages and more. Nothing fancy, but the location makes up for it. The convenient location across from the beach is top notch! You can enjoy deck seating with an ocean view, and the place opens early enough to catch the sunrise. In fact, make it a point to arrive for sunrise or you may be waiting in a long line!
Gypsea Crepes
- 7012 Thomas Dr, Panama City Beach, FL 32408
- Phone: 850-588-7531
- Open 9AM to 3PM most days; closed Monday
- Menu
Gypsea Crepes is a chill and brightly colored counter-serve place turning out French crepes with sweet and savory fillings. Enjoy all sorts of sweet and savory crepes in bright, cozy and colorful beach vibes. They can be pricey, but the quick service combined with the ambiance make up for it.
Sunrise Cafe & Bakery
- 10616 Front Beach Rd, Panama City Beach, FL 32407
- Phone: 850-588-6795
- Open 7:30AM to 3PM Monday to Saturday, 8AM to 3PM Sunday
- Menu
Sunrise Cafe and Bakery is a down-home locale whipping up American & European fare, plus coffee and homemade donuts. They offer an entire interesting coffee menu as well as pastries, cakes, and donuts. The ambiance is a mix of southern yet beachy vibes. There is patio seating and indoor seating. You can’t quite see the ocean from the patio, but you can certainly smell the salty air. The view is nice, so hang around and enjoy the lunch menu too, if you so desire.
Mr. BG’s Diner
- 14664 Front Beach Rd, Panama City Beach, FL 32413
- Phone: 850-249-4924
- Open 8AM to 3PM every day, closed Monday
- Menu
Mr BG’s Diner is a hole in the wall with a couple picnic tables out front, but not in a bad way. They’re a mom and pop shop with simple, good food and good service. Menu options include bacon and eggs style, sausage biscuits, pancakes and french toast. They serve lunch too! One downside here are their paper plates and plastic silverware.
Jesse’s Place
- 7008 Thomas Dr, Panama City, FL 32408
- Phone: 850-708-1356
- 8AM to 1PM every day
Jesse’s is a daytime eatery serving breakfast & classic American comfort food in a straightforward setting. There is unfortunately no outdoor seating, which is usually my preference, but the inside is cozy and feels a bit like grandma’s kitchen. Typical breakfast fare includes sweet and savory options such as egg platters, omelets, french toast, and more.
All American Diner
- 10590 Front Beach Rd, Panama City Beach, FL 32407
- Phone: 8502352443
- Open 6:30AM to 2PM every day
- Menu
The All American Diner is basically what you’d imagine – an old-fashioned diner with a 1950s motif for American staples and an all-you-can-eat breakfast bar. The diner is casual and cozy, offering typical sweet and savory diner breakfast options – combos, waffles, pancakes, and egg sandwiches. Much of the food is only slightly above average, but it’s the vibe and the variety of options that make this place great for the whole family.
Thomas Drive Waffle & Omelette House
- 4924 Thomas Dr, Panama City, FL 32408
- Phone: 850-234-5612
- 6AM to 2PM every day
The Thomas Drive Waffle and Omelette House offers good value for the quality of food and service. Friendly service keeps your coffee mug filled and offers fluffy omelets and other simple, delicious food. This one is so old school they don’t even have a website, so it’s no wonder they’re cash only. The booth seating is quite pleasant, with plenty of sunlight flooding in.
