If you work remotely, you’ll likely be on the hunt for the best coffee shops and coworking locations, even before you book your trip. That’s how this list and map were born – I wanted to know the locations and what to expect from the local coffee shops in Destin, FL. Hopefully you’re catching the sunrise and getting the bulk of your work done early, because these local spots are not open late.
For easy locating, my four recommended best coffee shops in Destin are pinned on this map.
East Pass Coffee Co.
- 529 Harbor Blvd Unit 104, Destin, FL 32541
- Phone: 850-353-2906
- Open 7:30AM to 2PM daily
- Menu
East Pass is a bright and quaint little spot offering all options to satisfy any palate. On the menu are iced and hot, regular and flavored specials. There are teas, espresso, cappuccino, matcha latte, cold brew, dirty chai, and more! The place is quaint and clean with indoor and outdoor seating, surrounded by planters for a more cozy experience. Stay long enough to get hungry – also on the menu are snacks such as fruit bowls, smoothies, toasts and sandwiches.
Roast’d Café Yoga Bar
- 806 Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL 32541
- Phone: 850-687-2413
- Open Tuesday to Saturday 8AM to 12PM

Roast’d Cafe is located in Shoreline Village Mall and they offer up modern vibes and outdoor picnic tables. This plant based cafe serves smoothies, lattes, cold brew, kombuchas, Acai and other fruit bowls. Their coffee is phenomenal, keeping it local with Destin Coffee. This yoga bar offers several Yoga classes every day including hot yoga. This is an excellent opportunity for a morning yoga session followed by some coffee-filled remote work, all in the same cafe.
The Palms Coffeehouse
- 4201 Indian Bayou Trail, Destin, FL 32541
- Phone: 850-389-5014
- Open 7AM to 3PM daily
- Menu
The Palms Coffeehouse is located on the first floor of The Palms of Destin Resort and Conference Center. It is indeed open to the public. They offer coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty options, as well as frappes, smoothies and pastries. The most enticing thing about this coffeehouse is the ambiance. Tropical and hanging plants under warm and colorful lighting, this is the best spot on this list for remote work. With a variety of seating options ranging from tables to bar to couches, you can work here each day of your stay and feel as though you’re visiting somewhere new. While the coffee and atmosphere are superb, the food is only so-so.
Maas Coffee Roasters
- 150 Miracle Strip Pkwy SE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548
- Phone: 850-226-6642
- Open 8AM to 5PM weekdays, 8AM to 4PM Saturday, 9AM to 4PM Sunday
- Menu
Maas Coffee Roasters is a tiny place with a whole lot of character. In fact it’s in Fort Walton Beach but I had to include it for its rustic vibes and neat decor indoor and out. Walk in and you get a welcome whiff of coffee immediately. Keep walking and you’ll end up in a wonderful outdoor garden space with tables and a giant umbrella. They serve up cold coffee, cuban coffee, other concoctions and chai lattes, plus snacks, and you can even grab a bag of coffee to take home. Since you’ve made the ten minute trip out of Destin, you might as well explore this strip – it’s right off of the miracle strip on 98.
